The EGR Music Boosters supports the continuing education of students outside of the classroom in our music through two programs - Outstanding Senior Musician Scholarship Award and Continuing Music Education Financial Assistance. Information about each of the programs can be found below. 

Each year, the music boosters awards scholarships to seniors that have participated in music programs for their four years of high school. For 2025, the EGR Music Boosters will award $500 scholarships to six graduating seniors in band, orchestra, or choir who have demonstrated their commitment to the music programs at EGR Public Schools. The application deadline is April 15, 2025. 

The EGR Music Boosters encourages all music students to continue their music education through opportunities outside of the school year. This might be through summer music camps, private instruction, or other similar programs. Up to $150 per person is awarded through this program. Applications for 2025 are due by March 1, 2025. Current 6th-11th grade music students planning to enroll in music in fall of the following year are eligible to apply. These funds are not applicable for summer band camp. The amount of the assistance is dependent on the number of applicants. If qualified, you will receive an email acknowledgement with the amount awarded, and further instructions for accepting your award. Funds received must be used by December 15 of the year in which they are awarded.
